Daura Hernández García

Daura was born in Tenerife. In Madrid she deepened her dance and artistic training and completed her studies in Sports Science and Physical Education. During her time in London she also obtained a PGDip in Advanced Dance Studies in LCDS-The Place and an MA in Dance Performance at the University of Chichester, UK. In 2010 and 2011 she took on the role of production assistant for MASDANZA. The International Dance Festival of the Canary Islands.

Daura has worked with Victor Fung Dance, CoDa Dance Company and MEINHART&KRAUSS, among others, as well as with choreographers Jorge Crecis, Jonathan Lunn, Tom Baert, Eva Baumann, Akós Hargitay, Juliette Villemin, and Thomas Kopp (selection). She currently works between Spain and Germany, where she is active as a dancer, creator, choreographer and dance teacher in the independent dance scene and at the Staatstheater Stuttgart.
