CATALOGUE OF THE GREAT INSULTS OF HUMANITY | PART 3

Driven out of the middle of the universe, immersed in the hustle and bustle of evolution, and then this: the dark urges take over the lead. Goodbye, free will. Welcome, IT.

Based on Freud's statement "that the ego is not master in his own house", the stage becomes a virtual space with four walls that can be played on by projections. The space itself is now beginning to change into an apartment, a nebulous fear room, a dark forest, an aquarium, a burning house, a glass room, a street escape. The room reveals the inner life of the two players and thus paints a picture of the hard-to-grasp, chaotic unconscious.

The text oscillates between dialogue, whispers of love, inner monologue, psychoanalysis session, dream and interrogation. In this unmistakable combination of choreography, digitality and text, MEINHARDT&KRAUSS spin their audience into the finely spun web of »Ego«, »Id« and »Superego«.
