"Sich Beine machen"

I must confess, my legs do not exactly correspond to the usual ideal, they are not particularly long, which is due to the rickets I suffered from at the age of three. In addition, they are crooked, the thighs run X-leg-shaped towards each other, which compensates the knee with a sharp kink to the outside. This leads to the fact that the lower legs, in turn, in order to at least somehow keep the balance, grow apart in a large O-leg-shaped arc. When I was eight years old, my mother suggested that I break my legs in the hope that they would grow together. Fortunately, even then I stood on my own two feet and decided not to break anything over my knee in this matter. Fortunately, because today in the age of unlimited possibilities, where you can use your clone as a spare parts warehouse, I experiment with the different lengths and shapes of legs. Admittedly, this is very expensive and does not allow me to live on a large foot, but for some time now I have the vague feeling that since I took my legs in my hand, I can no longer easily stand with both legs firmly on the ground. If this tendency were to take shape, I might run the risk of completely losing the ground under my feet and becoming an air dancer...
